My background as a retailer has provided me with the opportunity to develop a niche specialist legal service to the hospitality industry. Having nurtured hospitality businesses from their early stages I have the ability to anticipate legal issues that may confront experienced operators, those who have just entered the industry or those that are about to leave. Who better to provide those services, than a lawyer with ‘hands on’ experience?

I previously served as the honorary legal counsel to the Australian Institute of Business Brokers (Vic Chapter) for 5 years until 2015 and am accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a Specialist in Mediation. For 7 years from 2007 I wrote the monthly column on legal issues in the hospitality industry for “foodservice”, a national magazine.
